“Round Up” Fundraising Effort Announced with Plymouth Housing Group

Wednesday, Jun 23, 2010
Realogics Sotheby’s International Realty and Plymouth Housing Group have partnered to raise funds to end homelessness by “rounding up” title and escrow charges for participating closings.

During the opening reception for Realogics Sotheby’s International Realty on June 24, Paul Lambros, Executive Director of Plymouth Housing Group and Dean Jones, CEO of Realogics Group of Companies announced a philanthropic partnership to raise funds to help end homelessness in Seattle.  The program starts with the brokerage’s client during a closing event.  The title and escrow charges may be rounded up to the nearest $1,000 with the difference funded directly to Plymouth Housing Group – a 501C-3 charitable organization (all contributions are tax deductable).  Dean commented that his clients are fortunate to have a closing because they have a home; so the time seems appropriate to help those that don’t even have a home.  Paul also acknowledged Dean and Stacy Jones’ ongoing support for Plymouth Housing Group and proudly announced the impending opening of the newest residential facility half a blog away at 1st Avenue and Cedar Street in Belltown. The creative fundraising initiative aligns the benefitting buyer/seller, the agent and the brokerage during a closing event.
